Cal football players receive PFF grades after Clemson loss
Following a 24-10 loss to Clemson, Pro Football Focus (PFF) released player grades for the Cal football team. While the offense struggled, producing only 231 total yards and no touchdowns, the defense remained competitive, yielding only 17 points.
Safety Kingston Lopa continues to stand out as an elite performer. Despite a 68.5 grade in the Clemson game, his season grade of 89.0 ranks him as the No. 3 safety in the country, and his 90.8 pass coverage grade is the highest among all defensive backs nationally. Lopa also leads the team with 27 tackles.
Other top-graded Cal players in the matchup included outside linebacker Kamar Mothudi and defensive backs Isaiah Crosby, Aiden Manutai, and Ricky Fletcher. Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele recorded a career-low 119 passing yards with two interceptions during the contest.
