Cal Raleigh activated as Mariners prepare to host Orioles

Cal Raleigh, the American League MVP runner‑up, was activated from the 10‑day injured list after missing more than a month with a right oblique strain. Raleigh, who hit a franchise‑record 60 home runs last season, returned to the Seattle Mariners lineup for the Tuesday night series opener against the Baltimore Orioles. He had been limited this year, batting .161 with seven homers and 18 RBIs in 41 games.

The Mariners, leading the AL West at 38‑36, will start right‑hander George Kirby, while the Orioles, four games below .500, will counter with left‑hander Kyle Bradish. The game is slated for 9:40 p.m. ET at T‑Mobile Park and will be available on the Mariners TV network and MASN, with streaming on Fubo. Betting lines list the Mariners as -130 (or -135) favorites.

Seattle also announced the activation of shortstop J. P. Crawford (right‑hand contusion) and optioned catcher Jhonny Pereda to Triple‑A Tacoma. The Orioles’ injury report includes multiple players on the IL, among them Dylan Beavers (oblique) and Zach Eflin (elbow).
