Cal Raleigh hits historic home runs in Mariners series against Phillies

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh delivered historic performances during a three-game interleague series against the Philadelphia Phillies at T-Mobile Park. In the series opener, Raleigh hit three home runs to lead Seattle to a 9-2 victory, ending the Phillies' nine-game winning streak.

In the following game, Raleigh tied a franchise record by hitting home runs in four consecutive at-bats, matching a mark set by Mike Cameron in 2002. George Kirby pitched seven and two-thirds innings with nine strikeouts to help the Mariners secure a 4-1 win. Raleigh's combined output across the two games marked a significant resurgence following a period of batting struggles.

The Phillies salvaged the series finale with a 6-0 shutout victory. Kyle Schwarber hit his 40th home run of the season, and Jesús Luzardo pitched seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts to lead Philadelphia to the win.
