Cal Raleigh hits three home runs to lead Mariners past Phillies

Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh recorded his first career three-home run game during a 9-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies at T-Mobile Park on August 24.

Raleigh, who hit 60 home runs last season, had struggled significantly this year with a batting average of .159 and 14 home runs prior to this performance. During the game, he hit his 15th home run (a two-run shot) in the first inning, his 16th (a solo shot) in the fifth, and his 17th (a solo shot) in the seventh.

The Mariners' win ended a nine-game winning streak for the Phillies.
