Collegiate athletics: Fresno Pacific and Cal State Fullerton report tournament results

Various collegiate athletic teams competed in recent regional tournaments. At the Inland Empire Classic, the Cal State Fullerton men's water polo team secured victories against Fresno Pacific (15-6) and later split their weekend with a loss to Concordia Irvine and a win over Redlands.

UC Santa Barbara's men's water polo team maintained a four-game winning streak following victories over Pomona-Pitzer (14-12) and Occidental (17-8). Fresno Pacific's men's water polo team struggled during the same tournament, falling to both Fullerton and UCSB.

In volleyball, Fresno Pacific's No. 9 ranked team completed a perfect 7-0 season by winning the Ice Block Classic, overcoming an initial deficit against Alaska Anchorage before sweeping Alaska Fairbanks.

In cross country, Fresno Pacific opened its season at the Clovis Crush Invitational, where the men's team won the title with 30 points and the women's team secured second place.
