Cala de San Pedro offers secluded access in Almería

Cala de San Pedro, located within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park in Almería, remains a secluded destination accessible only by foot or kayak. The site is characterized by its lack of paved roads, parking, or reliable mobile coverage, requiring visitors to navigate a four-kilometer coastal trail from Las Negras or arrive via boat.

As part of Andalusia’s largest maritime-terrestrial natural park, the area features a unique landscape of volcanic cliffs and Mediterranean waters. An unexpected oasis, fed by a natural spring, provides vegetation and orchards amidst the arid environment.
