Calabria-America International Award celebrates Calabrese excellence

The XXVII edition of the Calabria-America International Award was held in Gioia Tauro to recognize the achievements of Calabrese individuals operating both in Italy and abroad. The event focused on celebrating the passion and tenacity of those who promote the region's values and culture across borders.

During the ceremony, journalist Giuseppe Livoti, president of the Le Muse Cultural Association, presented the book-yearbook ‘Calabresi illustri in Italia e nel mondo’. This publication serves as a historical guide analyzing the memory and evolution of the award. Livoti, a former recipient in 2010, highlighted the legacy of Mimmo Morogallo, the founder of the award, who established the recognition 26 years ago to honor the contributions of Southern Italians in various professional and cultural fields.
