Chiaravalle Centrale to Host “Calabria a Km 0” Agriculture Festival

The Gal “Serre Calabresi”, together with the municipality of Chiaravalle Centrale and the local Pro Loco, will hold the second edition of the “Calabria a Km 0” festival on 7‑8 August 2026. Building on the success of last year’s event in Soverato, the two‑day programme will provide free exhibition space for farms and producers to showcase and sell short‑supply‑chain, zero‑kilometre products. Organisers aim to strengthen territorial marketing, encourage conscious consumption and support the local agri‑food economy. Participation applications must be submitted by 15 July 2026 via the provided download link.

The festival will feature local food stalls, a concert by the Parafoné on 7 August, a sector‑focused talk, and a book launch highlighting Calabrian culinary culture. A dedicated craft‑artisan area, music, and cultural activities are planned to promote the region’s heritage and foster new commercial relationships among producers, visitors and the wider community.
