Calabria hosts initiatives to promote agricultural excellence
Regional initiatives in Calabria are focusing on the promotion and quality enhancement of local agricultural products. The “Olivo in campo” Academy is scheduled for October 1-2 in Lamezia Terme and the regional Citadel. This event brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, and institutions to address critical challenges in the olive oil sector, specifically focusing on price volatility, agronomic innovation, sustainability, and market evolution.
Simultaneously, the second edition of the CRISEA Award is being hosted in Catanzaro as part of the “Notte Piccante” event. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between scientific research, businesses, and culture to promote Calabrian excellence. The project features approximately 50 companies across four key sectors: wine, olive oil, cereals, and superfoods, with an emphasis on improving quality standards and supporting marketing and promotional efforts.
