Calabria infrastructure deficiencies criticized by MEP Tridico

MEP Tridico has criticized the lack of regional support and infrastructure in Calabria, specifically within the Sila region. During a recent visit, Tridico highlighted significant deficiencies in basic services, including water shortages, inadequate public transport, limited internet connectivity, and insufficient healthcare facilities.

Tridico noted that local municipalities, such as Casali del Manco, are struggling to maintain essential services like water supply without regional financial assistance. Furthermore, the MEP pointed to a lack of investment in cultural and tourism projects, citing the Sila train as an example of a project left to local associations due to insufficient regional funding.
