Calabria launches psychological support project ‘Parliamone Insieme’

The Calabria Region has launched ‘Parliamone Insieme’, a psychological support project involving 48 selected professionals. The initiative, funded with 1.6 million euros through the FESR FSE+ 2021-2027 program, aims to provide accessible mental health services.

The project features a dual-channel approach: 34 psychologists will work within local ‘Case della Comunità’ to offer free, direct access without medical prescriptions or appointments, while 14 psychologists will manage a 24-hour digital service. The digital channel is currently in a pilot phase specifically targeting individuals between the ages of 18 and 30.

Services are scheduled to begin on October 1. The program is designed to act as an initial point of contact and a bridge to existing healthcare and socio-sanitary networks, helping to identify vulnerabilities before they escalate.
