Palmi's Festival dei Tramonti Returns with Host Elisa Isoardi

A series of summer cultural events are scheduled across Italy in August 2026. On 9 August, the Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria will perform on Rai 2 for the televised "La Notte del Mare" in Pizzo, highlighting marine conservation. The ninth edition of "Nella Notte degli Artisti" will transform Caulonia’s seafront into an open‑air art stage with installations, workshops and live performances. Palmi’s sixth Festival dei Tramonti, organized by Associazione Prometeus, will be hosted by television presenter Elisa Isoardi and feature music, dialogue and awards for cultural and civic contributions. Torremaggiore’s eighth Vespa Summer Day on 16 August will combine a family programme with a freestyle motocross show by the Riot Riders. In Galatro Terme, the sixth Carlino’s Wave – Facimu Nu Festival will present hip‑hop pioneer Frankie hi‑nrg mc alongside local artists, expanding the venue onto a riverfront arena. Castel del Piano will host its 12th "Castel del Piano al Tramonto" running race. The province of Trapani will see theater productions in Triscina and Petrosino drawing full houses. Vallefoglia will hold a Festa della Comunità Sarda with a communal dinner, and Villaurbana will host the "Cena dei Villaurbanesi – Vicini e Lontani" community feast. All events aim to promote regional culture, tourism and community engagement.
