Calabria postpones fuel cost aid platform for transport companies

The Calabria Region has announced a delay in the opening of the online platform for submitting applications related to the “Caro Carburante” (High Fuel Costs) public notice for road transport companies. The service is now scheduled to become accessible at 10:00 on November 18, 2026.

The decision follows requests from transport companies and industry associations. Specifically, Fedralog, represented by Mario Pansini, highlighted difficulties regarding the complexity of the required documentation and the time needed to prepare applications correctly. Fedralog has offered to collaborate with the Calabria Region and Fincalabra to simplify procedures and share expertise in managing public contribution access.

Other concerns were raised by the “Manifestazione di interesse Umanità e Società – Dipartimento Trasporti e Imprese” association, in coordination with the technical table promoted by Astra (Associazione Trasporti). By addressing these observations, the Region aims to provide additional time for economic operators and professionals to review documentation, thereby encouraging broader participation from interested businesses. The platform will remain open until resources are exhausted.
