Calabria promotes regional products at Vinitaly & City 2026 in Sibari
UNPLI Calabria and local Pro Loco organisations set up a stand at Vinitaly and the City 2026 in Sibari, presenting guides, maps and publications about Calabrian towns, events, traditions, typical products and tourist itineraries. The stand also highlighted the “Visit UNPLI Calabria” guide and the De.Co. Identitaria Regionale project, which protects local identities through cooperation among municipalities, Pro Loco groups and communities.
The GAL of Sibaritide coordinated the Rural Hub Calabria cooperation project, leading a three‑day “GAL Agora” from 17–19 July at the Archaeological Park of Sibari. The programme featured show‑cooking, tastings, live gastronomic preparations and meetings with producers, promoting agro‑food excellence and rural development. The initiative is funded by the EU Strategic Complementary Programme for the CAP (CSR) 2023‑2027. Antonio Pomillo, president of the GAL, said: “Being the lead of Rural Hub Calabria means taking responsibility for a shared vision for the development of our region’s rural areas.”
