Campania and ASL Caserta Sign Convention on Food Education and Hippotherapy
The Region of Campania and the ASL of Caserta have signed a convention to cooperate on food education, food safety, veterinary health and animal‑assisted interventions. The agreement creates a framework for joint projects, including hippotherapy programmes for minors with disabilities at the Regional Center for Equine Development in Santa Maria Capua Vetere. Assessora to Agriculture Maria Carmela Serluca said the pact “unites health protection, social inclusion and the valorisation of the regional equine heritage”. ASL Director Antonio Limone added that the deal will expand One Health‑based pet‑therapy and hippotherapy services for children with disabilities and autism, and will reinforce specialist support for the equine centre. The convention also promotes the diffusion of Mediterranean‑diet principles among young people.
