Calabria Region reports 408 million euro profit and financial stability

The Calabria Region has reported a significant financial surplus, marking a period of economic consolidation and strengthening. Filippo Pietropaolo, President of the Budget Commission of the Regional Council of Calabria, stated that the region is continuing its path toward financial rebalancing and reinforcement.

According to the analysis of the 2025 financial year general account, the region has recorded an available surplus exceeding 307 million euros for the second consecutive year. This indicates improved budget stability and the ability to maintain ongoing recovery commitments. Additionally, the volume of resources managed has increased, with collections surpassing 7.2 billion euros in 2025. The results, supported by evaluations from the Court of Auditors, highlight improved administrative capacity, governance, and financial sustainability.
