Calabria Region unblocks 148 million euro purification project

The Calabria Region has unblocked a long-stalled water purification project in Catanzaro, involving a total investment of over 148 million euros. The initiative aims to create a new system structured around two poles to address historical infrastructure gaps.

Emanuele Ciciarello, a local councilor for Fratelli d’Italia, credited the regional government and Councilor Antonio Montuoro for securing available resources and aligning the project with current local needs. The project is expected to improve environmental protection, sea quality, and general livability in the area.
