Calabria Region urged to detail river maintenance plan before rainy season

She stresses that preventive actions must be taken before the upcoming heavy‑rain period, criticizing the current approach of responding only after floods occur. Scutellà asks the administration to identify the specific watercourses involved, list works already awarded, outline planned projects, and disclose the financial resources allocated, with a verifiable chronogram to monitor progress.

The councillor emphasizes that citizens have the right to know what measures are being implemented to mitigate hydrogeological risk and calls for transparent, pre‑emptive planning rather than reactive emergency management.
