Calabria reports improved water availability

Water availability in Calabria is showing signs of improvement, according to the Southern Apennine District Basin Authority. The recovery affects both the Sorical-managed sources and the Arvo-Ampollino reservoir system.

The drinking water severity level for the entire Calabrian territory is currently classified as ‘low’. This follows the conclusion of the state of emergency in the provinces of Crotone and Reggio Calabria on August 31. While the situation is more favorable, authorities maintain high attention regarding resource management.
