Calabria Verde increases working days for former Legge 15 workers

The number of guaranteed working days for former 'Legge 15' workers transferred to Calabria Verde has increased to 126. This adjustment provides greater economic, social security, and welfare protections for employees who previously faced two decades of job insecurity.

Funding for these additional days is sourced from the regional government's approved forestation implementation plan. These resources are intended to sustain essential activities related to the prevention and active combat of forest fires to protect Calabria's forest heritage.

Regional Councilor Rosaria Succurro described the measure as a significant achievement for workers who have demonstrated long-term commitment to public service and environmental protection. She credited the regional administration, specifically President Roberto Occhiuto and Agriculture and Forestry Councilor Gianluca Gallo, for the resolution.
