Calabrian football clubs hold training camps and sign players

Football clubs are intensifying preparations in Calabria through pre-season training camps and significant player transfers.

Professional clubs Monopoli and Salernitana have utilized the Calabrian mountains for their training retreats. Monopoli, led by coach Colombo, recently played to a 2-2 draw against Squinzano. Salernitana, under coach Cosmi, secured a 2-1 victory against Sambiase, with goals from Lescano and Achik, before concluding their camp with a match against Catanzaro's Primavera team. Casarano also utilized the same facilities in Trepidò for their preparations.

In the amateur leagues, Sersale has announced the signing of experienced midfielder Fabrizio Tavano, an Italian-Mexican player with international experience in Spain, New Zealand, and Indonesia. Meanwhile, Sc Soverato has strengthened its roster with striker Santiago Dorato and defender Paolo Branduani. In the Promozione division, Bovalinese has focused on youth by signing left-back Giovanni Siciliano.
