Calama hosts 10th “Héroes del Ritmo” break‑dance championship

A free, community‑wide break‑dance competition called “Héroes del Ritmo” will be held on Saturday, 1 August in Calama, Chile. The event takes place at the Parque de la Cultura José Saavedra from 15:00 and marks the tenth edition of the championship, which aims to promote urban dance among children, teenagers and young adults.

The tournament is organized by the Municipalidad de Calama through the Corporación de Cultura y Turismo, with Maikel Olivares Vicentelo serving as the executive director. It features several categories for beginners and advanced dancers, a jury that includes Bboy Wentru, Bgirl Len and Bboy Danny Chico, and musical performances by Dee Jeey Jona, Dnice Lúa, Funk Desértico Groove and Show Case.
