Calama hosts Senior Cueca Communal Championship

Eliana Moreno and Guillermo Maulén won first place in the Calama Senior Cueca Communal Championship. The competition featured eight couples who demonstrated their skills in the national dance of Chile.

Organized by the Municipality of Calama, the event was part of the ‘Calama es Mía, en estas Fiestas Patrias’ program. The winners noted that while their preparation was rapid, they approached the competition with respect for the national dance. Maulén praised the municipal initiative for providing a platform for senior citizens to showcase their talent.
