Calatayud to host Spanish U-16 Women's Golf Championship

The Gambito Golf Club in Calatayud will host the Spanish U-16 Women's Autonomous Federation Championship from September 3 to 6. The event brings together the top regional selections from across Spain.

The Aragonese selection, featuring players Constanza Beamonte Escartín, Ioana García Trifu, Elena Carrillo Odriozola, and Claudia Lavado Escribano, aims to qualify for the top eight teams in the country. Currently ranked sixth based on accumulated handicap, the team seeks to reach the first flight, which would mark a historic milestone for the region by achieving four first-flight appearances in a single season.
