Calbee announces new small-sized potato chip bags for convenience stores

Calbee is expanding its product offerings with the launch of a new small-sized package of its classic Salt Flavor Potato Chips. Starting September 21, 2026, these 24g bags will be available exclusively at convenience stores across Japan. The new packaging features a unique design including omikuji (fortune) and message sections to encourage consumer interaction.

In a separate retail development, a bulk set of Calbee Potato Chips Big Bags (160g each) is currently being offered at a discount on Amazon. The 12-bag set is priced at 2,982 yen, representing a 33% discount from the reference price of 4,445 yen.
