Catania FC secures nearly 8,000 season tickets for 2026/27 campaign

Alessandro Pirrone, the 1995‑born forward, has re‑signed with Serie C side Cefalù 1972, extending his stay after averaging 22.4 points per game in the 2024/25 season.

The Serie C Girone C transfer window saw multiple moves, including Matteo Stoppa leaving Catania for Campobasso and Marco Perrotta joining Catania on a long‑term deal. Other clubs such as Sorrento, Salernitana and Potenza also completed signings and loans ahead of the new season.

Catania Football Club reported that its "Essere Catania" subscription campaign has already reached 7,756 tickets, close to the 8,000 mark, as fans renew their support for the 2026/27 Serie C season. The club highlighted the strong community bond and outlined upcoming sales windows for seat changes and open‑ticket sales.

Former Catania captain Marco Biagianti concluded his two‑week off‑season project, B27, which provided intensive physical, technical and mental training for contracted and free‑agent players, featuring a roster of local professionals and support staff.
