Calcit Water Polo advances to Slovenian Cup semifinals

Calcit Water Polo secured a place in the Slovenian Cup semifinals after defeating Posejdon Celjski Golovec with a score of 24–10. The victory marks a strong start to the 2026/27 season for the Kamnik-based team.

Despite an early lead by Celje, Kamnik established dominance in the first quarter and continued to extend their lead through the second and third quarters. Maksim Zdravković Gligorovski led the scoring for Calcit with six goals. Other contributors included Kristijan Novak, Martine Stele, Luka Komatar, and Bor Škrlj, who each scored three times.

In the semifinals, Calcit Water Polo will face the defending champions, VK Ljubljana Slovan.
