Violence reported in Almada, Camarate, and Águeda

Several violent incidents have been reported across Portugal. In Almada, a 62-year-old man was seriously injured after being attacked and stabbed by a group of eight individuals at the Boa Esperança metro station. In a separate incident in the same district, a 27-year-old man was also stabbed by three unidentified men on Almada Negreiros street; the victim was taken to Garcia de Orta Hospital.

In Camarate, Loures, a man approximately 50 years old was found dead with severe head injuries. There are conflicting reports regarding the cause of death: police sources suggest firearm injuries, while firefighters indicated the wounds may have been caused by an agricultural tool. The Polícia Judiciária is investigating the death.

Additionally, a road accident in Águeda involving a car and two cyclists, a father and son aged approximately 40 and 20, left both men with serious injuries. They were transported to Coimbra for specialized care.
