Caldes defeats Liceo 3-1 in OK Liga season opener

Caldes secured a 3-1 victory against Liceo in their OK Liga season opener at Torre Roja. The win comes as Caldes undergoes a significant rebuilding phase after previously facing relegation and securing their spot in the top division by purchasing a vacancy.

Caldes found success through a brace from Oriol Martínez and a goal by Xavi Gurri. In contrast, Liceo struggled with clinical finishing, missing several key opportunities through players such as Arnau Xaus, Dava Torres, and Edu Lamas. This result follows Liceo's recent loss in the Supercopa de España semifinals against Barcelona.
