Caleb Wilson impresses Chicago Bulls following Summer League performance

Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson has generated significant excitement following a strong performance in the Las Vegas Summer League. Wilson, a former North Carolina player, scored 35 points in his Summer League debut and has emerged as a potential Rookie of the Year candidate.

During his offseason, Wilson worked extensively on his shooting despite recovering from a broken thumb and fractured wrist. He reported attempting between 2,000 and 2,500 three-pointers daily while wearing a cast. Teammate and fellow first-round pick Dailyn Swain described Wilson’s athleticism as “generational” and noted his expanding offensive arsenal.

Wilson has maintained a rigorous schedule at the Bulls' practice facility, working out twice a day. This development comes as the Bulls enter a new era following front office changes and the departure of head coach Billy Donovan, who stepped down in April to allow the new leadership the freedom to select their own coaching staff.
