Calese Crowder sentenced to 170 days in jail for parole violation

Calese Crowder, a 39-year-old registered sex offender, has been sentenced to 170 days in county jail for violating his parole. The sentencing follows an August 28 arrest in Glendale, California.

Glendale police responded to reports of a man acting suspiciously and crouching near customers at multiple businesses, including a store on West Glenoaks Boulevard and a Marshalls department store. Surveillance footage from the businesses helped officers identify Crowder, who was subsequently located and taken into custody.

Crowder has a documented history of similar offenses in Glendale and Burbank dating back to 2021. In August 2023, a video of Crowder allegedly attempting to sniff a woman at a Barnes & Noble in Burbank went viral on TikTok. He was also arrested in 2023 for allegedly peeping into a residence in Glendale.
