Caleta Olivia initiatives focus on tourism, community services, and social events
The municipality of Caleta Olivia is advancing several local projects, including the development of a new ‘Historical Oil Circuit’. Following an agreement with Cañadón Seco, technical surveys have begun to identify emblematic sites, such as the first gas station in Caleta Olivia and the O-12 well, to create a tourist route featuring signage and QR codes.
In community services, the Bolivian Mobile Consulate successfully concluded its visit to the city, serving over 300 residents—surpassing the initial estimate of 200. The initiative facilitated identity card renewals, residency documentation, and nationality procedures for children born in Argentina to Bolivian parents.
Social and cultural activities also continue in the region. In the Miramar neighborhood, the Suyai snack bar organized a ‘mate bingo’ to celebrate Mother’s Day, supported by local community organizations. Meanwhile, in Bella Vista, local carnival groups Anahí, Alelí, and Sapucay held a joint fundraising bingo at the Ciudad de Bella Vista Stadium to finance preparations for the 2027 carnival season.
