Calf gifted to groom at wedding in Süleymanpaşa

At a wedding in the Süleymanpaşa district, a groom received a calf instead of the traditional gold or money. The gift was presented by Berkcan Coşan, a childhood friend of the groom, Serhat Cavar.

Coşan, who also works in livestock, traveled to Çanakkale to find the animal after being unable to locate one locally. To prepare for the ceremony, the calf was washed, combed, and decorated with ribbons on its legs. Both the bride, Büşra Cavar, and the groom expressed surprise and happiness regarding the unique gesture.
