Calgary Flames secure five-year radio broadcast deal with Corus

Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation (CSEC) and Corus Entertainment have announced a five-year broadcast agreement to air all Calgary Flames home and road games on QR Calgary 770 AM.

The deal follows the shutdown of Sportsnet 960 by Rogers Sports and Media in July, which had previously served as the team's radio home. CSEC President and CEO Robert Hayes stated that the partnership ensures Flames games remain accessible to fans.

In addition to game broadcasts, a new daily sports talk show titled ‘Flames Now’ is currently in development for the station. QR Calgary 770 AM also broadcasts Calgary Stampeders CFL games.
