Calgary Wild defeat Vancouver Rise 3-2 in Northern Super League

The Calgary Wild secured their first victory of the Northern Super League season with a 3-2 comeback win against the Vancouver Rise at Swangard Stadium.

After Taegan Stewart opened the scoring for the Wild with a penalty in the 47th minute, Vancouver’s Jessica De Filippo scored twice to take a 2-1 lead. The momentum shifted in the 84th minute when Vancouver's Tori Tumeth received a red card. In stoppage time, Jorian Baucom and Keelyn Stewart scored in the first and sixth minutes, respectively, to complete the rally.

With this result, the Calgary Wild improve to one win, 12 losses, and two draws. The Vancouver Rise move to five wins, nine losses, and one draw.
