Calgary's Cowboys Dance Hall Closes After 30 Years
The Cowboys Dance Hall at Calgary's Cowboys Casino announced it will close after three decades serving as a Stampede staple for concerts and events. Ownership said the venue is shutting its doors to focus on expanding the Cowboys Music Festival, stating, "We are deeply grateful to every fan, team member and partner who has been a part of this incredible journey." The casino will remain open and will be rebranded in the coming months.
In Scott, Louisiana, the longtime Cowboys Nightclub at 207 N. Ambassador Caffery Parkway posted a "For Lease" sign, confirming the property is officially on the market. Management emphasized that after one final Friday performance, the venue will cease live band shows, adding, "This time it truly is goodbye." The closure ends the current chapter of the iconic local establishment.
