Influencer Wendy Durán arrested in Cali with weapons arsenal

A judicial proceeding regarding unpaid rent in the Pance sector of Cali, Colombia, led to the discovery of a significant weapons arsenal at the residence of content creator Wendy Jeanette Durán Bocanegra. Authorities, executing a civil order for the seizure of assets, found 977 rounds of 5.56 caliber ammunition, a US-made Colt rifle, and two 9mm Glock pistols with various accessories, including holographic sights and a laser adapter.

In addition to the weaponry, officials seized 4,844 US dollars in cash, a money-counting machine, digital scales, laptops, and narcotics. Durán, a fitness influencer, admitted to lacking the necessary permits for the materials found.

A prosecutor from the Specialized Directorate against Money Laundering charged her with the manufacture, trafficking, and possession of firearms and ammunition. Although she denied the charges, a judge ordered her to be held in a correctional facility while investigations continue into the origin and intended destination of the seized items.
