Cali motorcycle accident kills 22-year-old woman

A 22-year-old woman, identified as Isabella Cruz Murillo, died following a severe motorcycle accident in Cali, Colombia, on the night of September 23. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on the Suroriental highway near the intersection of Diagonal 23 and Calle 10B.

According to preliminary reports, Cruz Murillo lost control of her motorcycle while traveling northbound and struck a fixed structure on a median. The impact was so severe that the victim was fatally injured at the scene. While authorities are still investigating the exact cause, high speed is being considered a potential factor.

Witnesses have raised concerns regarding road conditions, claiming that a manhole cover near the accident site had presented safety hazards in the days leading up to the crash.
