Chacabuco, Argentina to face scheduled water outage on July 4

The Secretariat of Works and Public Services in Chacabuco announced a planned interruption of the potable‑water supply on Saturday, 4 July. Starting in the early hours, a key valve connecting well No 6 to the main tank will be replaced as part of a strategic maintenance program. The work is expected to be finished by midday, after which normal service should resume across the city. Residents were asked to store water and use it sparingly during the outage, and were warned that pressure may drop or water may be unavailable in large parts of the municipality while the tank is emptied.

The municipality emphasized that the intervention is essential to improve pressure and reliability of the water network and thanked the community for its understanding.
