California Agricultural Leadership Foundation names new board chair

The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF) has announced a transition in its executive board leadership. Dr. Joel Kimmelshue, owner and principal agricultural scientist at Land IQ, has been named the new board chair, succeeding Mike Young following the completion of Young’s term.

Joining Kimmelshue on the executive board are Fidela Irigoyen, who will serve as vice chair, and Rob Goff, who will serve as secretary-treasurer. This leadership change coincides with the implementation of CALF’s 2026–2031 strategic plan, which focuses on developing leaders, engaging alumni, increasing organizational awareness, and strengthening the foundation’s financial future.
