California brothers sentenced to decades for large‑scale meth, fentanyl and cocaine trafficking

U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr. sentenced California siblings Lorenzo A. Marquez (360 months) and Adam A. Marquez (204 months) after a jury convicted them of conspiracy to distribute over 500 g of methamphetamine, 400 g of fentanyl and 500 g of cocaine to co‑conspirators in southeast Missouri. The brothers operated from California, shipping drugs via checked airline baggage and using couriers across multiple states. Their operation was dismantled through a joint investigation by the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, the DEA, FBI, U.S. Marshals, state police and local agencies, as part of the Justice Department’s Operation Take Back America.

The sentencing also included co‑defendants, including Javontrey L. Wiley (12 years) and Oluwasegun Odumuyiwa (76 months), who played supporting roles in the network. Authorities seized thousands of fentanyl and MDMA pills, dozens of pounds of meth, cocaine and heroin, and highlighted the case as one of the most prolific drug supply rings ever prosecuted in the Eastern District of Missouri.
