California Counties Certify June 2026 Primary Election Results
Los Angeles County certified the June 2, 2026 statewide direct primary election, processing 2,227,461 ballots and reporting a 37.81% turnout among its 5.9 million registered voters. Incumbent members of Congress in the 28th, 36th and 38th districts won their primaries, and Measure ER – a 0.5% sales‑tax for essential services – passed narrowly with 50.64% support.
Riverside County also completed certification, counting 550,840 ballots and recording a 38.35% turnout. The certified results were transmitted to the county board of supervisors and the California Secretary of State, and the deadline for any recount request was set for July 1, 2026.
