California Golden Bears defeat Wagner 49-7

The California Golden Bears defeated the Wagner Seahawks 49-7 in a dominant performance at Memorial Stadium. Quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele recorded a career-high 413 passing yards and three touchdowns during his two and a half quarters of play.

Running back Adam Mohammed contributed significantly to the victory, scoring three touchdowns in the first quarter alone through rushing and receiving plays. The Golden Bears accumulated 626 total yards of offense and scored on eight of their 11 drives.

Wagner's lone score came late in the first quarter. The loss follows a recent heavy defeat for Wagner against James Madison. Cal moves to a 2-1 record and is scheduled to host Clemson next Friday.
