Authorities believe the pair is traveling in a white Nissan Altima with no license plates. The search was intensified after surveillance footage confirmed the father and daughter were traveling together in the vehicle. Perez is wanted on multiple felony charges, including incest, rape, and child endangerment.

While initial reports suggested the teenager was a suspect in the infant's death, the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office clarified that no criminal charges have been filed against the girl, emphasizing that she is considered a victim of her father's alleged abuse.
