California shelter rescues kitten despite being at capacity

The Love Your Feral Felines (LYFF) association in California, which had reached full capacity and stopped accepting new animals in early September, rescued a tiny grey kitten named Charlie on September 18.

A person arrived at the shelter with the kitten in a paper bag, stating they could no longer care for the animal and had no other options. Despite the shelter being at capacity, rescuers decided to intervene to ensure the kitten's survival. Charlie has since received veterinary care, vaccinations, and proper nutrition while adjusting to the shelter environment.
