California teacher under investigation after viral militia videos
Kenisha Daily, a special education teacher at Lincoln Elementary School within the Madera Unified School District, is under police investigation following the viral spread of social media videos. In the footage, Daily is seen loading a shotgun and a pistol while calling for the formation of a “black militia.” She explicitly stated, “Starting today, I’m starting a black militia. So if you’re black, if you want to shoot some guns, come find me. We’re going to rob some white people.”
After concerned followers reported the videos to school officials, the Madera Unified School District contacted Fresno authorities. A subsequent law enforcement home visit resulted in a temporary restraining order against Daily.
The district has placed Daily on leave and conducted a safety review at Lincoln Elementary, which included increasing on-campus security. Madera Unified officials stated that the Board of Trustees believes no staff member has the right to compromise the sense of safety for students, families, or staff.
