Chewy and First Commonwealth Financial See Notable Share Transactions

The California State Teachers Retirement System increased its stake in Chewy Inc. by 22.6% in the first quarter, bringing its holding to 261,524 shares worth about $7.06 million, or roughly 0.06% of the pet‑supply retailer. The fund’s purchase added to a broader trend of institutional investors raising positions in Chewy, with Vanguard, ING Groep, Jefferies Financial Group and others also expanding their holdings.

Separately, James Reske, chief financial officer of First Commonwealth Financial Corporation, sold 2,072 shares of the bank on August 5 under a Rule 10b5‑1 plan. The sale, at an average price of $21.85 per share, reduced his ownership by about 2.68% to 75,132 shares valued at roughly $1.64 million.
