Calix Limited Receives Final A$5.7 million Payment from PLS as Mid‑Stream Plant Commissioning Advances

Calix Limited (ASX:CXL) announced receipt of a second and final A$5.7 million cash payment from PLS Group Limited (ASX:PLS) on 31 July 2026, fulfilling the terms of the restructuring agreement for the Mid‑Stream Project. The Mid‑Stream Demonstration Plant, located at PLS’s Pilgangoora operation, was officially opened on 5 June 2026 with Western Australia Premier Roger Cook and former ARENA Chair Justin Punch in attendance. Commissioning of the plant is proceeding on schedule, and Calix confirmed that its electric calciner has completed full heat‑cycle testing, validating power draw and heating performance. The company expects its first spodumene calcination and subsequent lithium phosphate production to occur in the September quarter of 2026, marking a key step toward commercial operation.
