Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 multiplayer disrupted by hacker on PlayStation

A hacker using the alias “C Isn’t Sharp” has been exploiting the newly ported Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The attacker manipulates lobby data, assigning a non‑existent “Prestige 16” rank, altering weapon classes and ejecting players with incomplete messages. Reports also note profile blocks, XP manipulation and, in some cases, the inability to re‑join matchmaking.

The community advises players to avoid multiplayer lobbies, shut down the console immediately if the hacker appears, or temporarily stop using the game until a fix is issued. Activision, Treyarch and the porting studio Iron Galaxy have not released an official statement, and a patch is being awaited to restore stability.

The issue emerged shortly after the official PlayStation ports were released earlier this month, prompting many players to abandon the multiplayer mode and raising concerns about account safety.
