Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 4 Update Adds New Maps and AN‑94 Weapon

Activision released the Season 4 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone on 25 June 2023. The patch introduces two new multiplayer maps, Zenith (jungle sanctuary) and Launch (classic Black Ops setting), and adds the iconic AN‑94 assault rifle together with the Duet Kata.

The update also launches a free Nick Cage event, featuring a new operator and daily reward rotations. Players can unlock the AN‑94 by progressing through the event’s free reward track, earning XP in objective‑focused modes such as Domination and Hardpoint, completing contracts, or using Double‑XP tokens. A blueprint may later appear in the in‑game store, and the weapon will be available again through Armory Challenges after the event ends. Balance changes affect several existing weapons, and new cosmetic items are included in the reward tier.

The season’s changes aim to refresh the game’s meta, broaden map variety, and provide a cinematic tie‑in with actor Nicolas Cage while keeping the new weapons accessible without spending Call of Duty Points.
