Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 5 launches July 23 with new maps, weapons and Warzone updates
Activision announced that Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone will go live on July 23. The update adds a brand‑new multiplayer map, Jubilee, a rural Japanese festival setting, plus remastered versions of Dig and Frequency. Mid‑season content will introduce Turbo Tilt, a pinball‑machine map, and Freerun : Descent, a parkour‑style arena.
New limited‑time modes include Overdrive Domination, Gauntlet Rush and Cranked Moshpit. Zombies receives the Eidskallen Lighthouse survival map, a Directed Mode for Kowakujō, and a mid‑season finale map, Rex Infernus, concluding the current storyline. Players can equip Ability Boosts and acquire four new weapons – the FG42 assault rifle, dual‑wield Gremlin SMG, Mammoth LMG and Mace melee weapon.
The Battle Pass is led by the operator Spectre, with BlackCell adding the operator Cipher. Warzone gains a new Verdansk point of interest, Drone Labs, featuring supply drones, a JLTV vehicle and a drone obstacle course. Additional Warzone features include the HKDs killstreak, a Juggernaut public event and Resurgence Ranked Play.
